Winston's Wish West Sussex

The West Sussex branch of Winston’s Wish began in September 2006 and has thrived ever since.

The Family Services Team have been working with over 90 families during 2010 and have run 3 residential weekends, two for children and families bereaved through illness or accident and one national specialist weekend for children and families bereaved through suicide.  The Children’s residential weekend has continued to be held at The Lodge Hill Centre, near Pulborough and the Parent’s Camp is held at a local Village Hall in Bury.

2010 saw a very busy events calendar with individuals and groups throughout the county raising essential funds for Winston’s Wish. There were a variety of exciting and challenging events undertaken by an ever-growing group of dedicated supporters.

We’d also love to hear from you if you could offer administrative support in the office or perhaps help with distributing collecting boxes around the county.

Winston’s Wish is keen to further develop Fundraising Groups in and around West Sussex. Do you have a network of friends who would like to help you fundraise for Winston’s Wish? Or perhaps you would like to join an established group? Please contact us for more details.
